VP/General Manager - North America

Our client, a leading manufacturer of Audiovisual devices is seeking an experienced VP/GM to lead and manage the growth of their North America business unit.

Regular In-Person presence at the Orange County, CA office location is Mandatory and Non-negotiable.  Fully remote or WFH is NOT available for this position.

Scope of Role

Working in partnership with the global HQ team, The VP/GM will be responsible for all aspects of the NA business UNIT, including:

  • Drive revenue growth & Improve profitability
  • Financial operations and reporting
  • HR and Compliance
  • Program Management
  • Business & Development
  • Strategic Alliances: Distro, Channel and E-Commerce
  • Corporate Planning
  • Operations, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain and 3PL

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business growth including but not limited to lead generation, email campaigns, B2B, inside sales and data analysis.
  • Participate with the global management team to strategize and boost overall results, efficiency, success, customer satisfaction and drive global initiatives
  • Instill a strong sales culture, drive results across different customer segments and accounts.
  • Implement a positive company culture with strong leadership for both improved performance and passionate, enthusiastic employees.

Experience, Education and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience working for a technology or device vendor in the audiovisual, AV/IT or “ProAV” technology market.

  • Business-to-Business sales expertise: Lead generation, inside sales, marketing, partner recruitment, onboarding and enablement.  CRM, E-Commere and Order fulfillment expertise.

  • Growth experience: a clear track record of delivering consistent revenue and margin growth in a competitive setting.
