Product Manager - Cybersecurity products
Our client, a leading technology vendor that develops Encryption management tools is looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive product development and GTM efforts.
The Product Manager will be responsible for all technical and business aspects of product management - the definition, development, deployment, packaging, positioning and promoting of existing and new service offerings.
This is a virtual office (WFH) role, Candidates must be located in lower 48 US states
This is a full-time, direct hire role. NOT A CONTRACT position.

Key areas of responsibility include Product Strategy, Product Deployment, Product Marketing, Product Road Map, and Marketplace Analysis.
Product Development and Deployment includes the entire process of bringing new products to life including product definition, pricing, internal process workflow, departmental impact analysis & resolution, systems needs, training and communications; Lead a cross functional product development team to ensure that proper procedures, tools and resources are in place to launch and support services. Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management projects.
Product Road Map includes collaboration with Senior Management to determine product initiatives that will launch over the next 6-12 months by considering customer and marketplace needs. Participate in the company’s planning activity to identify new strategic services, markets and customer segments. Work with engineering and sales team to define market requirements, develop product line strategy and roadmaps.
Marketplace Analysis includes the assessment, analysis and articulation of competitive marketplace as well as customer, prospect and market needs. Track and maintain information on competitive pricing and products; Provide insight into competitive marketplace from a business and infrastructure perspective including knowledge of the customers, various business models, technology, telecom regulatory environment and competitors; articulate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Technical Product Marketing includes collaboration with the sales and marketing team to market the solutions, develop tools and programs and provide sales support; Monitor the product introduction results to ensure sales and revenue targets are achieved; Identify and implement necessary changes to enhance the product’s market acceptance; Track and analyze company trends in terms of product mix, customer segmentation, revenue by location, etc. and develop and execute action plans to improve performance.
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with strong preference for Computer Science focus, or equivalent experience. MBA helpful but not required.
Strong systems thinking skills, including visualization, quantitative market and competitive analysis. Knowledge of Agile development, possibly as a SDLC project manager.
Excellent communications skills required.
Team player: MUST collaborate well with internal teams and external partners and stakeholders.
Functional Experience required: 3-5+ years as a Product Manager, Program Manager or Product-focused Project Manager or similar role in the creation and delivery of products and services to the Enterprise. Strong preference for security products, IT infrastructure management or SaaS-based applications.
Technical Domain Knowledge:
Strong preference for candidates with direct experience with some of the following: Security, SaaS/Apps development, network security, PKI, HSMs, MS Certificate Authorities, Enterprise SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure,
