Broadband: Copper, Fiber, Wireless access Networks.
IP Networking including routing protocols
VoIP, UCaaS, and VTC.
This role is part of the deployment and implementation team, working with Network Design, NOC and Field Operations teams to build high-speed broadband services in the region.
Please note this is a hybrid position at the client’s New York Mid-Hudson Valley regional office.
you will be expected to be in the firm HQ and other regional offices regularly, as well as traveling locally to customer sites for meetings and deployments.
Please note there is no relocation or work permit/ VISA support offered.
Candidates must be US Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered for the role.
Work with the Network Operations Center group on network design changes
Manage, configure and troubleshoot networks
Worki with Deployment team to design and implement secure services: broadband access, VoIP, UCaaS, Video
Work with Engineering team to troubleshoot complex routing issuesPerform network analysis
Maintain accurate documentation of telecom infrastructure devices
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements.
BS or AAS in Computer Science or similar preferred. Equivalent experience also acceptable.
Recent college grad with strong academic background also considered
Hands on experience with configuration of network equipment
Strongly preferred
Knowledge of Telecoms/Service Provider service offerings. Optical, Copper, Wireless.
Knowledge of WAN Services, Routing Protocols (EIGRP, IPSEC, OSPF, BGP), Voice/VoIP, etc.
Experience in IP routing, Application Servers, Network Security (SSL, DDOS mitigation)
Knowledge of testing tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds and similar tools.
