Our client is a leading broadband provider that is currently building their Network Operations Center team, and are interviewing now for various levels of Network Operations Center (NOC) Technicians, Engineer, Supervisors and Specialists.
The Network Operations Engineers are an integral part of the broadband services team, which is responsible for the support of the firm’s broadband access, core IP routing, and transport network elements. This includes installation, testing, turn-up and troubleshooting of the company’s wireless, wifi, broadband access (copper and fiber) core IP routing, and transport network elements.
These are on-site roles for local NYC region candidates. This NOT a 100% WFH role.
These are full-time, direct-hire roles, not contract positions.
The company is not able to provide work visa or relocation support to candidates.

Responsibilities
Support customer on support tickets, problem isolation, troubleshooting
Work with CRM and Ticketing systems
Work with customers and in-house teams on consistent on-time, quality implementation of network connections, customer deployments, customer premise equipment (CPE) and customer network facilities.
Install, configure, customize and upgrade network equipment within the guidelines set by the Network Engineering management team.
Experience, Education and Skills requirements
3-4+ years in the installation, testing, turn-up and troubleshooting of network services including circuits, IP Network and broadband equipment., preferably in a NOC, Field Service/Field Operations Technician, Field Engineer, or Network Operations Engineer in a Telecom service provider environment or large enterprise environment.
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred but not required.
Equivalent Direct Hands-On Experience in Network Operations Center strongly suggested.
2-3 years of direct experience with IP networks: operations, design, engineering and implementation.
Direct knowledge of some (NOT ALL!) of the Technology Domains
