Marketing Operations Manager, Redwood City, CA

Our client, a Venture-backed provider of Data Center Management software solutions, is seeking a qualified Marketing Operations Manager. This role will be primarily responsible for Lead Generation efforts via optimal use of Customer Relationship Management, Marketing Automation and Content Marketing strategies.,

Primary Duties:

  • Proficiency in CRM, CMS and Marketing Automation operations and strategies is a must. 
  • Monitor, Measure, and Analyze sales and marketing campaigns. Accurate analysis of customer acquisition, customer retention, and customer satisfaction.

  • Implement best marketing automation practices in a high-tech enterprise software sales environment. 

  • Manage daily IT operations relating to CRM support. Work with CRM vendor to plan and execute CRM changes (upgrades, data migration, etc.;) 

  • Serve as lead technical role in user creation, system, enforcing access credentials, and drive break/fix issues

  • Work with data appending vendors and make recommendations for additional tooling for accelerated engagement, account identification, pipeline acceleration, ABM, multi-touch attribution, etc.;

  • Create, organize, and maintain internal documentation related to CRM. 

  • Educate organization on Hubspot’s capabilities and limitations.  Train SDR/BDR team on creation and optimization of marketing content and sales collateral.

  • Metrics: Create and monitor KPIs, reports and dashboards on marketing and sales activities

  • Communicate with both technical and functional staff to plan, and implement CRM related tools, functions, and campaigns

  • Support inbound marketing efforts by monitoring and measuring effectiveness of marketing initiatives. 

  • Support Sales team by monitoring, measuring, and analyzing sales objectives, as well as, creating reports to organize data.

  • Support Finance team by creating financial reports, dashboards and projections

  • Serve as technical lead on tool integrations with Hubspot

  • Evaluate new tools and applications to measure effectiveness and optimize for best results.

  • Primary technical point of contact for vendors, enforce SLA, support expectations, and information security requirements

  • Respond to technical inquiries and requests from users as it relates to CRM assistance and manage support process with appropriate vendor as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • Full Stack Marketer handling Marketing Automation, Content Marketing and Lead Generation.

  • At least 3 years experience administering Hubspot or similar CMS/CRM within a growth technology company

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. 

  • Must be professional , positive, and effective in working with all others

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement using acquired data and best practices. 

  • Bias towards action. Creativity required in planning projects and deliverables.

  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative; outside the box thinker

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience leading a large scale implementation, migration, or deployment of an enterprise-wide CRM

  • Experience working in a technology startup company

  • Experience working with CRM and/or Marketing Automation, ie. Salesforce Administrator, Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua or similar platform.

  • Experienced with data visualization: Turning complex data sets into compelling presentations

  • Analytical mind with a strong sense of good business strategy

  • At least 2 years working in digital marketing or sales operations

  • Financial analysis and modeling skills
