Marketing Manager – Technology Recruiting Firm
J. Patrick & Associates, Inc. is a boutique Executive Search firm specializing in the placement of Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Technical personnel at top-notch Information Technology firms worldwide. We are located in Kingston, NY in the heart of the Mid-Hudson Valley, 100 miles North of New York City.
We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to spearhead our Inbound Marketing and Inbound Recruiting efforts. This role is responsible for development and execution of strategic marketing plans, optimization of core sales and marketing tools, and execution of effective integrated marketing campaigns including Content/Inbound marketing, SEO, PPC, retargeting, LP and email tools. These efforts are meant to attract prospective hiring managers, HR manager and candidates.
This is an on-site role, and remote/virtual employees will not be considered. Candidates must be currently living in (or have a strong willingness to relocate to) the Mid-Hudson valley, NY region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role requires an ambitious, well-rounded marketer with inbound and content marketing experience to drive growth in our marketing funnel. There are three overlapping audiences the Marketing Manager will address: New prospects (hiring manager, HR leaders and candidates) our existing customer base of hiring firms, and our proprietary database of candidates.
The Marketing Manager’s role will be to drive Website traffic – through various channels such as Content Marketing, PPC, SEO, and Retargeting. The mission is then to convert visitors into high quality leads for the firm’s IT recruiting services, via calls-to-action, landing pages, forms, workflows and lead generation content offers
Key responsibilities:
We need a versatile marketing team player: strong on content creation, marketing metrics and KPIs. This role requires creativity, a drive to succeed, outstanding attention to detail and project management skills.
Website Design and Optimization:
In cooperation with outside Design consultants or Hubspot partner agencies, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating a compelling web site and content experience through the latest on best practices. This includes designing and delivering optimal navigation, structure/design, landing pages, and content offers.
Provide day-to-day management of key components of our HubSpot marketing portal.
Prior experience with the HubSpot COS is preferred but not required. The Marketing Manager would be expected to work towards several of the Hubspot Marketing certifications.
Content Marketing
Create and execute useful, remarkable and educational content including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc. Content should be created directly or through the use of outside agencies, consultants, freelancers and interns. All content should be created with the needs and interests of our firm buyer personas (hiring manager, HR leaders and candidates in the SaaS, AV, Telecoms, Cybersecurity verticals)
Responsible for Editorial Calendar: scheduling, execution and quality control.
SEO/PPC
Manage all aspects of the firm’s SEO (on-page /off-page) execution and analysis; optimize organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on various metrics: click through rates, traffic, and conversions. Research competitors, keep current with latest SEO trends, tactics and tools.
Social Media
Build and manage the company’s social media presence, including LinkedIN (Recruiter’s profiles and Company page) Facebook, Twitter, SlideShare, YouTube and other relevant channels. Track progress, implement systems for metrics and optimization.

Marketing Automation and CRM: Hubspot COS (Professional version)
Recruiting CRM: Bullhorn CRM/ATS
Manage Synety Hosted Contact Center system,
Hootsuite, Zapier, LinkedIN, LinkedIN Recruiter, Buffer, OptinMonster
Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
3-5+ years experience in a marketing role in the Information Technology sector preferred, but not required.
Competitive spirit, getting-things-done attitude. Thrives in high-paced environment. Optmizer.
Strong content creator with excellent writing skills, some visual design experience.
Strong social media presence, with knowledge of current trends and best practices for each network.
Proficiency with a Marketing Automation platform such as Hubspot, WordPress, Pardot, social media monitoring, Web analytics and keyword tools
Proven track record of generating traffic and nurturing visitors (using dynamic workflows) into sales-qualified leads
Thorough knowledge of SEO, PPC, search ranking and optimization factors .
Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite
Currently living in (or willingness to relocate to) the Mid-Hudson valley region, and has a life outside of work!
