Inside Sales Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to grow its US-based Distribution & network in the Los Angeles/ Orange County region. The Inside Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in building new relationships and driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and nurturing leads, as well as managing existing accounts. 

This is an On-Site Management role.   Five Day Presence in the firm’s Orange County, CA office iis Required.   This is NOT a remote, WFH or virtual role.  This is a Direct-Hire role.  Please no contractors or third-party lead generation firms!

Candidates must be currently eligible to work for any employer in the US AND currently resident in the Los Angeles/ Orange County region. No work Visa or relocation assistance offered. 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet all sales objectives set by management, including quarterly and yearly goals.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. 

  • Manage, train, motivate and coach the Inside Sales team.

  • Solicit new accounts, and follow-up on prospects through effective use of all available sales tools for lead generation. 

  • Identify and qualify new leads through prospecting, including email outreach, cold calls, networking events and partner engagement. 

  • Establish contact with dealers, resellers, MSPs, systems integrators, rep firms to enable sales and delivery of the firm’s products

  • Some Travel to meet with partners, distributors and customers required as well as attendance at industry events, conferences and trade shows. 

Experience, Education and Skills Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Strong preference for sales in the AV, UC, VTC or other IT devices, software or managed services offerings.

  • 5-7 years in an Inside Sales or BDR/SDR role. 

  • 2-3+ years managing an Inside Sales team.

  • Strong CRM skills and experience.

  • Deep CRM reporting, configuration and integration skills.  Zoho, SFDC, Hubspot or similar

  • Familiar with sales practices supporting indirect sales such as Channel/Distribution business models. 

  • The Inside Sales Manager will also work with BU Management to monitor operational process and expenses to realize savings and drive efficiencies  Prior experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics helpful..  Financial reportings skills helpful
