Many of our IT/Security hiring firms are seeking JR. DESIGN ENGINEERS in Boston to service clients in the Metro region.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or similar study; possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT as well as putting together design bid packages; and at least two years experience working with an IT infrastructure and/or electronic security consultant, MEP, architect, engineering or construction firm.
SALARY: $90,000 - $120,000
Responsibilities:

Design IT infrastructure and electronic systems bid packages
-
Prepare drawings, schematics, equipment selection, load calculations, and specifications
-
Review product submissions
-
Assist with AutoCAD or REVIT floor plans

Attend site visits as required
Qualifications:
-
BA in an engineering field
-
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD
-
2 years experience with Engineering, MEP, Architect, or Construction Management Company
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Thrives in a leadership role
