Our client, a leading information technology vendor, is looking for a VP of Product Strategy. The firm is broadening its product and services offerings through internal product development, M&A activities, licensing and partnerships. In addition to product strategy, go-to-market and launches, this role will also be involved in overseas market expansion.

Lead product vision and build roadmap as a member of the executive team, working closely with the board and leadership to develop company-level product strategy
Communicate with internal (product teams, sales, finance) and external (users, partners, channel) stakeholders to aggregate, sort and refine market and technical feedback informing product roadmap decisions.
Lead creation of the product roadmap to communicate overall product direction and strategy
Support product execution by working with engineering, business development and corporate development teams.
Build pipeline of product and market initiatives (Build, Buy, License, Partner, OEM) and providing product decisions for current projects
Partner with Product Marketing to drive go-to-market strategy, including product launches, feature rollouts, and communication campaigns.
Serve as the firm’ s Product Evangelist, building relationships with prospects, customers, partners, channels, industry experts and influencers.
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
BA required, MBA strongly desired.
MUST have experience working with Information technology vendor. Prefer some startup background.
Managed a portfolio of products including Go-To-Market, Product Launch and End of Life.
10+ years’ experience in some aspect of product management, product planning and strategy or product marketing.
Minimum of 5+ years of product leadership experience in an IT technology vendor, service provider or professional services firm.
Strong preference for background in some of these technologies: Mobile devices, SaaS, IoT, AIDC/RFID, Cloud Services and Infrastructure.
Strong preference for background in some of the following industry verticals: Automotive, Law Enforcement, Transportation, Physical/ Video Security
Executive level strategy, communication, and presentation skills.
