Director Business Development - Systems Integrators

Ready to hunt, negotiate and close large, complex strategic Cybersecurity partnerships with leading Global Systems Integrators? 

Our client, an industry-leading Cybersecurity vendor, is looking for a Director Business Development, to build strategic relationships and drive revenue with the major Global Systems Integrators (GSIs). 

This role is a virtual office position, located in the NY-NJ Metro region.

The Director Business Development will be charged with developing and executing business partnerships strategies, and delivering exceptional revenue results. Your responsibilities will cover all facets of strategic business development, identifying new market opportunities for GSI partnerships, identifying partners, initiating conversations, enumerating requirements, negotiating terms, and closing deals. As part of the executive management team, this position will be involved in all business issues and strategies relating to the operations of the company as well as the long term planning.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements

10+ years of business development experience selling to, through and with the leading GSIs.

MUST have experience developing and closing high-dollar deals with the leading Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) such as Tata Consultancy Service, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies. 

MUST have experience closing deals with OEMs, VARs, and systems integrators.

Bachelor's or equivalent experience.  MBA strongly desired.

A strong track record of negotiating partner/reseller agreements, development partnerships, and co-selling relationships

Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a small and collaborative environment to deliver against ambitious targets.

Executive level strategy, communication, and presentation skills

Results-orientation and strong decision making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives and meet aggressive deadlines

Excellent people management and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical skills

Influential communication and negotiation skills

Strong technical and market knowledge of Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Data Centers, Cloud Applications (SaaS), and Cloud Security.
