Vice President of Sales - Conference and Collaboration

Our client, a leading Conference and Collaboration company, is searching for a Vice President of Sales to build out their American sales operation.

This is a hands on leadership role developing strategic engagement increasing new logo acquisition.

Office is in Manhattan and Regional and periodic international travel is required.

 

Responsibilities:
  • The Vice President of American Sales will be responsible for managing the sales cycle (account planning, sales execution, pipeline/funnel management) and forecast accurately.
  • Sales team development; build strategic team and lead effective enterprise new logo growth
  • Strong Data skills. Must manage metrics, KPIs, CRM and dashboards effectively.
  • Predictable sales forecasting.

 

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years Sales so software technology solutions to leadership in large enterprise. Experienced in the deal values >$1M and 6-12 month sales cycle.
  • Extensive experience in the recruitment, team building, building sales Strategy, training, management, motivation of skilled Account Executives.
  • Experience working collaboratively to develop and execute proposals.
  • Previous selling experience should include a focus on the full range of prospecting, selling and closing.
  • Excellent sales reporting and forecasting (pipeline/funnel)   Extensive sales and sales management training (possible Miller-Heiman, TAS, SPIN selling, Solutions Selling
  • Experience in social selling including leveraging LinkedIn and other networks to reach critical contacts in the accounts
  • Demonstrate confidence and communicate clearly and concisely through professional presentations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with Salesforce CRM. Be able to explain how you leverage Salesforce to achieve quotas.
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or Technology; MBA or similar graduate degree preferred.
  • This position will require domestic and occasional international travel.
