Inside Sales Executive, Telecommunications - Chicagoland

Our client, a leading provider of telecommunications software services, is currently seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join their team. Qualified candidates should have both a technical background and sales experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Exceed sales quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Work with existing customers in our Client’ s retention program to ensure and restore confidence in our Client’ s solutions and services
  • Generate pipeline of leads by leveraging cold calls, email, and social media channels
  • Effectively communicate our client’ s technical solutions to resellers, prospects, and customers
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients
  • Upsell to existing customers for system upgrades and expansions
  • Engage with marketing and tradeshow leads to qualify and convert them to sale opportunities

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:
  • Undergraduate college degree required
  • 2+ years experience in Software Sales, includes SaaS/Managed Services
  • Knowledge of Telecom, UC, and/or VoIP technology preferred
  • Experience selling Call Reporting Software, Call Recording Software and/or Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Software preferred
  • Proficient with CRM (Contact Relationship Management) systems, preferably MS Dynamics
  • Technical communications certifications a plus
  • Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive environment
