Our client, an innovative managed solutions provider is looking a Sales Engineer (SE) to support enterprise customers in the adoption and deployment of Unified Communications, Mobile, and Collaboration applications, infrastructure and managed services.

The  Sales Engineer will function as the primary technical resource  to the enterprise sales teams, assisting in all aspects of the sales process.
 

Responsibilities:

We have a Enterprise  sales team that is seeking a Pre-Sales professional  focused on designing and selling Unified Communications, Mobile, and Collaboration services  to accounts in the Northeast US sales territory. This position will be based in New York City, and require extensive travel, up to 35%, to meet prospects and clients.   

  • Provide technical expertise and knowledge of Unified Communications, Mobile, and Collaboration  solutions to customers and channel partners in both pre-sales and post-sales capacities

  • Engage in consultative, deep technical discussions with customers on the  capabilities, requirements, configuration and usage of the company’ s mobility technology portfolio

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the wireless platforms, wireless technology, messaging systems, and competing technologies

  • Create mobile solutions for global enterprise accounts’ applications and solve business problems.

  • Develop proposals and pricing models with sales team

  • Work with Enterprise  Sales team to identify sales prospects, penetrate account and close large, multi-year service deals

  • Participation in customer meetings, carrier partner training events, and trade shows

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You are a  great fit for this if you have  prior pre-sales experience with a Unified Communications, Mobile, and Collaboration  technology vendor, MSP/telco/carrier or VAR/SI channel partner.   If you' ve worked in another customer-facing role and have deep technical knowledge in the appropriate  markets, we would  love  to talk to you.

  • Our client hires Top Talent only, generally Sales Engineer with 8-10  years’ experience.   Strong on your feet and in non-pre-sales role? We' ll talk to  customer-facing technology SME roles, such as technology consultant, professional services engineer or project manager, we want to talk to you.

  • Do you have  Technical aptitude  with a consultative approach to find creative solutions to real customer problems? 

  • If you are fired up by the challenge of presenting game-changing technology solutions to MNC/Enterprise audiences, 

  • Writing skills essential for RFP, Proposal, Pricing and Presentation sales support process

  • Bachelor degree is minimum education requirement

  • Technical knowledge on Unified Communications, Mobile, and Collaboration applications, systems and infrastructure preferred.

  • Selling experience with some of the following preferred: Unified Communications, Videoconferencing, Audioconferencing, Video streaming, AV/IT, Mobile, and Collaboration.

  • Web or Client/Server application development experience preferred.
