Regional Sales Representative, Midwest

Our client, a leading provider of an innovative collaboration solution, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative who will be responsible for new business in the Midwest region. Preference for Chicago Region, but other locations near major metro airports will be considered. Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota.

This includes channel and partner development, end user development, and product evangelization. Candidates must have experience selling software solutions to enterprise level customers. Videoconferencing, Collaboration solutions, Unified Communications, UCaaS, MS Lync, Skype, Skype for Business, S4B experience is a plus. 

 

SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting, selling and growing existing partner accounts, and driving revenue in  both SMB and Enterprise level sectors.

Candidates must have the ability to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, create solutions and demonstrate high integrity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sourcing and developing client relationships and Channel partners
  • Willing and Able to demo solution to end users
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities/opportunities through the use of a simple, logical funnel process and methodology (CRM)
  • Work within a sales and support team structure for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values
  • Follow up on inbound leads from various marketing efforts
  • Develop new opportunities focused on the 10 state north central region

 

SKILLS:
  • Experience with Videoconferencing, Unified communications or Audiovisual
  • Comprehensive knowledge of collaboration technology
  • Comfortable in a strong, commercial sales environment
  • Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and passionate team player
  • Able to travel in territory and overseas on occasion
  • VTC background with Cisco, Tandberg, Polycom, Mitel, Avaya, etc.
