Our client, a leading provider of SaaS-based applications for video marketing, is currently building its sales support organization and is actively seeking a Lead Sales Engineer to act as a player-coach for the SE team in NYC. Through their Software-as-a-Service offering, our client has created industry-leading video marketing platforms enabling clients to fully leverage the business intelligence, demand generation, lead management and sales force automation systems to achieve exceptional ROI.
This position is based in New York City, and requires regular presence at the Manhattan office.

Attendance at necessary client service conference-calls and contact appointments
Represent the value of company solutions, while reinforcing the benefits gained by the client through leveraged integration of client operations.
Lead and manage customer projects which include configuration, user training and ensuring customer success, to achieve full enterprise-wide deployment and retention
Create and deliver technical sales presentations for technical and business unit management audiences.
Provide technical responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.
Lead presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers and partners including executives, through highly technical levels
Develop, manage and provide reporting for all customer programs, including product evaluations, pilot installation, legacy and new product implementation
Provide technical sales support to the firm' s Sales Account Manager and Inside sales force
Coordinate product evaluations and support pipeline development
Maintain on-going relationship with Business Unit Management and technical contacts within customer accounts
Effectively interact with the engineering and support teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues
Support Sales Account Managers to become self-sufficient with their own demos
Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in salient technologies and industry verticals
2-3+ years of sales or sales support experience in On-Demand, SaaS or Client-based software application vendor or systems integrator
Expertise in key areas of sales force automation, demand generation and lead management, including lead scoring, lead nurturing, email marketing and campaign management
Consistent record of sales target achievement, preferably exceeding quota regularly
Existing pipeline of contacts thru executive level decision-makers
Understanding of and ability to learn the most popular social media platforms
Familiarity with SaaS and APIs
Familiarity with Marketing and Sales processes
Strong working knowledge of Marketing Automation solutions, and experience with leading SFA or CRM solutions
Excellent client management instincts and abilities, strong written and verbal communications, executive level presence and experience in facilitation
