Enterprise Sales Executive - SaaS Applications -  New York City

Our client is a leading provider of a Cloud-Based Software Platform is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive. This is a FIELD sales role  for new and expanded business in the New York City metro region.  Previous field selling experience is strongly preferred. 

They are Pre-IPO,  have achieved 130% YoY growth 3 years running, and have been consistently named a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader.

You  should  have experience selling one or more for the following:  SaaS based applications, Networking, Security,  or Data Center products (storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, etc).   

You will be responsible for calling upon 150+ net-new accounts. This is a pure hunting role with 3-5 month avg sales cycle. 

A capacity to generate pipeline is paramount for success. 

The typical economic buyer is a CIO or CTO. Qualified candidates will have a history of calling upon the C-suite. 

This is a virtual role  in the greater NYC metro region.   Qualified candidates will have a history of traveling in territory. Therefore, travel within New York and other nearby areas is expected.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
  • Are you highly motivated and have a proven track record of enterprise  sales success?   Get on board.
  • Ability to sell to technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Bachelor' s degree
  • 5-7 years of appropriate sales experience selling SaaS based applications, Networking, Security,  or Data Center products (storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, etc). 
  • We love sales people who maintain a strong pipeline,   and keep sales  management updated with great  forecasting and CRM skills. Salesforce.com preferred
  • Our top sales performers have several years’ experience selling with a structured sales methodology such as Miller-Heiman, TAS, MEDDIC, Sandler Solutions Selling, SPIN Selling, Dale Carnegie or similar programs.
