Director of Marketing
Our client is a leading multinational technology firm that is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join its fast growing team in the US. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Product marketing capacity at a firm that offers IT services, applications or infrastructure products. Strong technical background in product management or product development helpful.
This position is located at the firm' s Midtown Manhattan NYC office.

Design and implement go-to-market for key product lines across channels
Experience in identifying and gathering industry information, using both quantitative and qualitative research.
Strategize and develop actionable solutions and Market Requirements Documents (MRD).
Collaborate with marketing program managers, business unit managers and sales teams to implement segmented and targeted lead generation and nurturing programs.
Develop and implement an effective sales collateral system which includes content management, collateral distribution and usage tracking. This system must be scalable globally in order to meet future needs.
Optimize the use of marketing and sales tools in order to achieve program goals for specific business units.
Facilitate the alignment of the sales and marketing engagement activities with the customers’ needs.
Head product positioning, messaging, and product marketing activities, as well as working closely with Communications on external campaigns.
Product Positioning and Strategy– Determining product strategy and positioning, alongside Product Management and Sales.
Market Insights – Collecting market data from both internal and external sources, for data analyzing covering key success factors and all other variables applicable to the product.
Analyze competitive product offerings, market dynamics, and translate that into a Market requirements and a roadmap for the product management and sales teams.
Develop ongoing marketing, positioning and communications strategy for customers and partners that highlight the products benefits.
Work with product management, sales support and marketing communication staff to plan and implement marketing support for all products and programs
PR/event management and coordination for web seminars, speaking engagements, trade shows and conferences.
Coordinate and track product development team activities from conception to launch Marketing communication
Manage marketing campaigns (ie: direct mail campaigns, sales support, public relations, and customer life cycle communications)
Support tracking and analysis of all marketing projects, including budgets, timelines and results
Skills, Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor’ s Degree, Masters strongly preferred
7-10+ plus years of business-to-business product marketing experience in the Information Technology industry bringing new products to market, from conception to launch and product improvement.
Strong preference for experience marketing to C-suite and technology organizations that are responsible for software development, applications performance monitoring, source code analysis, software testing and quality assurance/quality control.
Experience in creating and executing strategic outbound marketing programs
Strong project management skills; ability to manage and maintain multiple projects at once.
Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and excellent communication and people skills.
Ability to represent marketing department (both internally and externally) and effectively communicate plans to internal departments and outside vendors/partners.
Ability to work effectively across the our client' s organization, interacting with sales, HR, operations, business development, product development, product management, finance and technology teams.
Broad marketing content creation, distribution, events, sales support experience required.
Track record of successful strategy and execution of marketing materials for sales collateral, conferences, newsletters, case studies, customer endorsements, etc.
Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent oral and writing skills, with some creative design experience.
